Out now via DEADBEATS

Santa Cruz local Michael Petzel, better known to bass heads as Shlump graced us with his debut Lazer Beam EP, out now via Zeds Dead‘s DEADBEATS label.

Self-proclaimed alien bass music maker, there’s no questioning why he labels himself this way. His tracks have a wonky etherial quality about them. Otherworldly perhaps?

The bass is nice and wonky. The listener doesn’t get a chance to get comfy here, his pulsating synths keep us on our toes. It’s an impressive debut EP for sure.
