Producer & songwriter “Easy Sunshine” (born Sam Anthony Cotter) has been creating tunes from the womb. Proficient in drums, guitar, bass & keys, he’s played and written music for as long as he can remember, scattering notebooks full of lyrics around his parent’s house as a teenager.

His father Tony is his main musical influence and biggest fan, fostering Sam’s love for music since a toddler, teaching him the instruments he plays, music theory and the work ethic & drive to turn his dreams into reality.

After discovering the underground electronic scene thanks to his best friend VJ TBOT, Sam fell in-love with it and began making beats with Fruity Loops, then Reason, back to FL Studio and finally finding his groove in Ableton.

As an obsessive perfectionist, Sam’s “never settle for mediocrity” demeanor held him back from releasing and sharing his music for several years. Fortunately, that ship sailed when he realized Wayne Gretzky’s famous quote “You Miss 100% of the Shots You Don’t Take” was actually true. Who would have thought?

He’s actively back in the studio working on his full-length album “Bibles, Biscuits & Bricks” which is set to release in December of 2021.
